Every person who finds themselves serving in the Sales Operations function has a unique story about how they arrived there. None of us goes to school and actively seeks a career path which has Sales Ops leadership at the top of the ladder.
The common thread among all of us who are successful in Sales Operations is that we are ‘get it done’ people who are comfortable living with ambiguity, managing multiple priorities and helping to bridge the gap among multiple stakeholders while we help our commercial organizations meet their goals.
With our focus on serving and delivering results, we often don’t take the time to find others like us to collaborate with. This slows down our development and has had a large affect on the maturity of Sales Ops as a function.
Having served for over 15 years in Sales Ops leadership, I have decided to give back to the careers of those who choose to work in Sales Ops. SOPSA was created to connect us online…and in person. It is loaded with information and resources needed to achieve success.
